I offer individual psychotherapy across a range of modalities using the eclectic approach, meaning I interweave different techniques and therapeutic approaches to create a unique treatment plan to target your individual goals and circumstances. I specialize in issues concerning PTSD, family of origin, foster/adoption, relationships, social justice/systemic inequality Issues, anger management, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders.
I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy. EMDR uses Bilateral Dual Attention Stimulation to improve one's core beliefs about the self, world, and other people. Various EMDR protocols are used in targeting a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, OCD, addiction, attachment and relationship difficulties. EMDR Therapy is also recognized by the World Health Organization and the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) as a treatment of choice for post-traumatic stress disorder.

Sexual Trauma Recovery Group for Women
This is a psychoeducational support group for adult survivors of sexual abuse. It is designed ideally for those who are beginning this healing process as well as those building upon and continuing toward greater wholeness. Great care is taken to maintain a safe environment for each member and the group as a whole.
This 8-week psychoeducational group utilizes individual and group exercises in order to build a foundation for safety, insight, and integration. Healing takes place at the level of processing and integrating feelings, thoughts, perceptions, and behaviors. The goal of this is to help individuals attain a higher quality of living by helping them gain greater self-awareness and tools for healing.
*There are no current group openings at this time, but the curriculum can be offered in individual sessions.
